The rugged backcountry in the Black Hills of South Dakota moves from glistening meadows and small open prairie to steep rocky cliffs and tall mountains. Small bodies of water are often times captured in isolated places. This oil painting reflects a location I hiked into one spring day.
Note: This image is printed on canvas using archival inks. It has been varnished and does not require a glass protective cover when framed. It may be framed like an original oil painting.
