In the spring of the year Marsh Marigolds are one of the first flowers to color the tawny landscape. They like slow moving water in marshy areas and along lakes with a boggy edge. In undisturbed areas of northern Minnesota you will often times find a gallery of these flowers in very large beds. What a splended sight.
