Rainy Lake area is full of spectacular scenery. There is water everywhere, doted with tree filled islands. The area has a solid feeling. I suppose it is because of all the rock. The vegetation is firmly attached to the top of the exposed rock and in the crevices. There is water everywhere constantly lapping at the shoreline. It's pure solitude.
