A couple of weeks ago a friend of mine invited me to take a ride with him to check out the choke cherries. We drove along a trail that followed a tree covered ridge. Yep, the choke cherries were ripe for the picking. We came to the end of the trail where there was a building site right between two lakes. We couldn't resist getting out of the truck to check the place out. The day was warm, full of bright sun light and perfect for the excursion.
My friend has modeled for me a number of times over the years and once again he graces this oil painting with his unique character.
